THE REFLECTION OF ACT OF DEVOTION OF FASTING.
We enter the Ramadhan month, when today the sun set. May this year, we are able to act devotion of fasting as has been obliged to the mankind who Believe and Piety to Allah, obedient & submissive to all His commands written in the Holy Quran.
Allah Said :
“O' you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become pious”.[Al-Baqarah 183]
To be able to become a piety person, first of all we have to understand what and how are His His commands in the Holy Quran. Therefore we are been suggested to read the Holy Quran, at the same time understand it so that we are able to carry out it with devotion.
Allah Said :
“THE MONTH OF RAMADHAN IS THAT IN WHICH WAS REVEALED THE HOLY QURAN, A GUIDANCE FOR THE PEOPLE AND CLEAR PROOFS OF GUIDANCE AND CRITERION. So whoever sights the new moon of the month, let him fast it; and whoever is ill or on a journey - then an equal number of other days. Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship and wants for you to complete the period and to glorify Allah for that to which He has guided you; and perhaps you will be grateful".[Al-Baqarah 185]
The Holy Quran has been brought down as Allah's divine revelation by the angel Gabriel to the Messenger of God, to be the warning for mankind, and use as guidance to Life on Earth. Therefore, we are been oblige to believe in the Holy Quran.
Allah Said :
"And indeed, the Qur'an is the revelation of the Lord of the worlds,.....it has been brought down by the Trustworthy Spirit (Gabriel),.....Upon your heart, [O Muhammad] - that you may be of the warners,.....In a clear Arabic language”.[Ash-Shu`arā' 192-195]
“That indeed, the Holy Quran is the word of a noble Messenger".[Al-Ĥāqqah 40]
Fasting is not just only to hold your hunger and thirsty. However, it is the self training arena so that we are able to become a piety person for the sake of reaching Allah's promise. Therefore later at the end of Ramadhan there will be no victory day for us, but thus become the beginning of a struggle to be "Istiqamah (=proceed consistent accordingly)" in Syawal month as well as in the foregoing months.
Allah Said :
“SO REMAIN ON A RIGHT COURSE AS YOU HAVE BEEN COMMANDED, you and those who have turned back with you to Allah, and do not transgress. Indeed, He is Seeing of what you do”.[Hud 112]
“Indeed, those who have said : "Our Lord is Allah ," and then remained on a right course - there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.......Those are the companions of Paradise, abiding eternally therein as reward for what they used to do”.[Al-'Aĥqāf 13-14]
The Ramadhan month is also call as the self-training motivation, since we are expected able to train patient, stifle rage, abstinence from falsehood, keep your passions & emotion, leave the nature of envy, spite, preconceive, gossip as well as other heart disease.
Allah Said :
“And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a garden as wide as the heavens and earth, prepared for the pious,....Who spend in the cause of Allah during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and who pardon the people - and ALLAH LOVES THE DOERS OF GOOD”.['Āli `Imrān 133-134]
“And be patient, for indeed, Allah does not allow to be lost the reward of those who do good”.[Hud 115]
Be piety at the end of the life is the hope of all mankind, and that's the meaning of "Khusnul Khotimah (=Dead in faith to Allah), which always obedient & submissive to all His commands in the Holy Quran in an "Istiqamah" manner, as the form of Pious.
Allah Said :
"But those who have feared their Lord - for them are chambers, above them chambers built high, beneath which rivers flow. This is the promise of Allah . Allah does not fail in His promise“.[Az-Zumar 20]
Mighty Right Allah with all His Words.
Allah Said :
“O' YOU WHO HAVE BELIEVED, FEAR ALLAH AS HE SHOULD BE FEARED and do not die except as Muslims [in submission to Him]”.['Āli `Imrān 102]
May all of us can act of devotion of fasting in this Ramadhan month, and after that are able to be "istiqamah" in the Syawal month as well as in the foregoing months.
