THE 7TH DAY FASTING REFLECTION
Many people are living in luxury but stingy to others. Who likes expending their property excessive, but reluctant donate to others, or they are spenders, but do not want to help the people who are in the middle squeezed-up trouble.
That's what's called a stingy, which is one of liver disease due to his love for treasure. Allah does not like stingy people.
Allah Said :
“And indeed he is stingy because his love for treasure”.[Al-`Ādiyāt 8]
“Worship Allah and associate nothing with Him, and to parents do good, and to relatives, orphans, the needy, the near neighbor, the neighbor farther away, the companion at your side, the traveler, and those whom your right hands possess. INDEED, ALLAH DOES NOT LIKE THOSE WHO ARE SELF-DELUDING AND BOASTFUL,.....WHO ARE STINGY and enjoin upon other people stinginess and conceal what Allah has given them of His bounty - and We have prepared for the disbelievers a humiliating punishment”.[An-Nisā' 36-37]
Stingy is the breaking of the mankind characters as social human which bring grief. However, mankind in general indeed are stingy and do not realize that the treasure is His grace.
Allah Said :
"Indeed, mankind was created anxious.....When evil touches him, he is impatient,....And when good touches him, he is withholding of it,....except those who practise the prayer”.[Al-Ma`ārij 19-22]
The treasure are not ours eternally, because when we die there is no benefit to us. The exactly treasure that later will be benefited to us, are the treasure which we spend in the way of God.
Allah Said :
“The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed of grain which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies His reward for whom He wills. And Allah is Mighty Encompassing and Mighty Knowing”.[Al-Baqarah 261]
Therefore, stay away the stingy nature. Because stingy bring grief, and make us as the looser.
Allah Said :
“And those who had wished for his position the previous day began to say, "Oh, how Allah extends provision to whom He wills of His servants and restricts it! If not that Allah had conferred favor on us, He would have caused it to swallow us. Oh, how the disbelievers do not succeed!”.[Al-Qaşaş 82]
“So fear Allah as much as you are able and listen and obey and spend in the way of Allah; it is better for your selves. And WHOEVER IS PROTECTED FROM THE STINGINESS OF HIS SOUL, IT IS THOSE WHO WILL BE THE SUCCESSFUL".[At-Taghābun 16]
“But as for he who withholds and considers himself free of need,.....and denies the best reward,.....We will ease him toward difficulty”.[Al-Lail 8-10]
Stingy is the other form of refusing His grace. Whereas the Holy Quran has clarified that we should never deny His grace.
Allah Said :
"Indeed mankind, is ungrateful to his Lord”.[Al-`Ādiyāt 6]
“And remember when your Lord proclaimed, 'If you are grateful, I will surely increase you in favor; BUT IF YOU DENY, INDEED, MY PUNISHMENT IS SEVERE”.['Ibrāhīm 7]
Mighty Right Allah with all His Words.
Allah Said :
“And WHOEVER TURNS AWAY FROM MY REMEMBRANCE - INDEED, HE WILL HAVE A DEPRESSED LIFE, and We will gather him on the Day of Resurrection blind”.[Ţāhā 124]
May all of us do not include to those stingy, because stingy will bring grief in our life.
